Comparing Pop-Culture from 1994 to 2014

Has there been a difference between 1994 and 2014? Of course — would be the answer you’d give someone.

I decided to compare some of the technology, celebrities, singers, athletes between ’94 and 2014 to show how both decades have changed dramatically and how some things almost the same.

Commodore Amiga Computer & iMac Deskstop
In ’94, we’d actually kill for a fat, dingy-color computer like that.
Tupac Shakur & Kanye West
I don’t think anyone will ever be Tupac, but West is the Tupac of this generation.

Barry Bonds & Miguel Cabrera
Bonds was the man you didn’t want to see if you were a pitcher back in ’94, and in 2014 Cabrera is that same player.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Covers

“Real Monsters” & “Spongebob Squarepants”

Playstation 1 & Playstation 4
I still can’t believe the Playstation 1 came out in ’94. I thought it was much more later than that.

Cindy Crawford & Kate Upton
I mean come on, Upton is the Crawford of this era.
“Seinfeld” & “The Big Bang Theory”
Big Bang is by far the best sitcom today.
Michael Jordan & LeBron James
Easy one.
Jordan IX & LeBron 11s

Steve Young, San Francisco 49ers win Super Bowl 29 and Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks win Super Bowl 48

Madonna & Lady Gaga
Another easy one. Gaga, to me, is the Madonna of this generation.

Motorola cell phone & iPhone 5s

Whitney Houston & Beyonce
Back then, Houston was the queen of music, just like how today Beyonce is the queen… Well, “Queen Bee”.

’94 style television set & H.D flat screen

“The Oprah Winfrey Show” & “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”
Ellen’s show is sorta the Oprah Winfrey Show of today.
“The Real World” & “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”
Love them or hate them, the Kardashians is the top reality show today, just like how The Real World was the top and ONLY reality show in ’94.

“Pulp Fiction” & “The Wolf Of Wall Street”
In ’94, the movie Pulp Fiction was such a controversial film, as in 2014 The Wolf Of Wall Street was highly controversial and racy.

Bill Clinton & Barack Obama
Some say Clinton was the real first black president of the United States.
